The new musical Giant may take place in the Lone Star State, but the Texas epic revolves around two lovers, Bick and Leslie, and their sprawling romance. Co-produced by the Public Theatre and based on Edna Ferber's classic novel, Giant is currently running at the Dallas Theatre Center and has its sights set on a future New York run. The show even features a cast of many Broadway veterans including Kate Baldwin, Aaron Lazar, Matt Doyle, Dee Hoty and Natalie Cortez, with Baldwin and Lazar taking on roles played by Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson in Giant's classic film adapation. Baldwin and Lazar stopped by Good Morning Texas on February 1 to perform a tender ballad from the show and give audiences a taste of Texas ranch life. Check out the performance below!
