For a quarter of a century, the music, mayhem and mystery of The Phantom of the Opera has delighted Broadway audiences night after night. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical, featuring lyrics by Charles Hart and Richard Stilgoe, opened on January 26, 1988 and officially became the longest-running show in Broadway history in 2006. Now entering its 25th year at the Majestic Theatre, The Phantom of the Opera will celebrate its 10,000 performance on February 11. To mark this momentous occasion, current stars Trista Moldovan (Christine Daae) and Hugh Panaro (the Phantom) got together for a You’ve Got… Aol Session to gush about the magic of the long-running show.
