Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman, Golden Globe nominee Andrew Garfield and Tony nominee Linda Emond headline the Broadway revival of the Arthur Miller classic Death of a Salesman. Directed by Oscar and Tony winner Mike Nichols, the all-star production begins previews February 13 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. The limited engagement is set to open March 15 and run through June 2.
Death of a Salesman, Miller’s 1949 Pulitzer Prize-winning play, concerns Willy Loman (Hoffman) an aging traveling salesman coming to terms with the emptiness of his life. Willy had great dreams for his oldest son, Biff (Garfield), a former high school football star who has not lived up to his father’s expectations.
Joining Hoffman, Garfield and Emond are Remy Auberjonois, Bill Camp, Glenn Fleshler, John Glover, Stephanie Janssen, Fran Kranz, Kathleen McNenny, Elizabeth Morton, Molly Price and Finn Wittrock.
