Playing ingénue Cosette in the upcoming film adaptation of Les Miserables is more than just a plum role for Amanda Seyfried, it’s the realization of a life-long dream. In a recent Access Hollywood interview, the Mamma Mia! movie vet shared her personal history with the piece, saying she fell in love with the musical at age 11 and claims to know every lyric of every song. “It’s half my life that I've dreamed about this,” Seyfried said. “I had no expectations of this coming true.” Seyfried, who studied opera as a teenager and underwent a four month audition process for the role, is equally excited about working with her film co-stars like Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe. “When we’re all singing together," she said, "I don’t know how I’m not going to cry.” Click on below to check in with the future Cosette.
