After the death of recording legend Whitney Houston on February 11, Glee spotlighted the singer on the show's Valentine’s Day episode, which featured a previously filmed performance of Houston’s signature tune, “I Will Always Love You,” by Mercedes (Amber Riley). With her passing, Houston leaves behind a bevy of powerhouse anthems and pop favorites that could easily fill a Glee tribute to Houston in the tradition of the series' Michael Jackson, Madonna and Britney Spears episodes. After tackling the late diva's toughest track, Riley proved she can hold her own when it comes to the icon's songs.
