Off-Broadway’s renowned Labyrinth Theater Company is welcoming 14 new members to the company including comedian Chris Rock (The Motherf**ker With The Hat) and Ethan Hawke (Coast of Utopia, The Seagull).
The newest additions also include Max Casella (The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire), Rosal Colón (A Free Man of Color, The Motherf**ker With The Hat), acting teacher Maggie Flanigan, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Lisa Joyce (La Bete, Red Light Winter), playwright Lyle Kessler, Margaret Ladd, (The Great Indoors, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie), Alfredo Narciso (The Motherf**ker With The Hat, A Streetcar Named Desire), playwright Jonathan Marc Sherman, playwright/screenwriter Ben Snyder, playwright Lucy Thurber and actor Aaron Roman Weiner.
Labyrinth Theater Company’s co-artistic directors are Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O’Donnell, Yul Vázquez, with Danny Feldman serving as managing director. Among the current company members are Eric Bogosian, Ellen Burstyn, Bobby Cannavale, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Lynn Nottage, Sam Rockwell, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Michael Shannon, Michael Stuhlbarg, Kate Whoriskey and David Zayas.
Founded in 1992, Labyrinth has grown into a nationally renowned company of actors, directors, playwrights and designers from a wide array of cultural perspectives. Over the past 19 years, Labyrinth has developed hundreds of original works and premiered 55 new American plays in New York including Guinea Pig Solo, Jack Goes Boating, Jesus Hopped The A Train, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Our Lady of 121st Street, Sailor’s Song, Sistah Supreme, and recently, on Broadway, The Motherf**ker With The Hat.
