Joyce Van Patten and longtime standby Karyn Quackenbush complete the final cast of Love, Loss and What I Wore at the Westside Theatre. The duo join previously announced stars Sierra Boggess, Ally Walker and Erica Watson. The final cast will begin performances February 29 and continue until closing night on March 25.
Love, Loss and What I Wore opened in October 2009 at the Westside Theatre and will have played 1,013 performances at the time of closing. Based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman and written by Nora and Delia Ephron, the play features a rotating all-star cast of women sharing insights on love and fashion. Prior cast members have included Kristin Chenoweth, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Tyne Daly, Fran Drescher, Janeane Garofalo, Melissa Joan Hart, Carol Kane, Minka Kelly, Stacy London and Jane Lynch.
Karyn Quackenbush has appeared on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun and Imaginary Friends and on TV in Law & Order and Chappelle’s Show. Joyce Van Patten, best known as Janice in the original cast of TV’s As the World Turns, has appeared on Broadway in The People in the Picture, Taller Than a Dwarf, Ring Round the Moon, Brighton Beach Memoirs, I Ought to Be in Pictures and The Bees and the Flowers. She previously appeared in Love, Loss and What I Wore in September 2011.
