James Carpinello Set for New TV Medical Pilot

Broadway veteran James Carpinello has been cast in an untitled FOX medical drama pilot created by Josh Berman and Rob Wright, according to Deadline.com. No shooting schedule has been announced.

The untitled pilot centers around a female doctor who works for the Chicago mob. Carpinello will play a member of the Southside Outfit. The pilot will also star Jesse Lee Soffer (TV’s As the World Turns) as the female doctor’s brother.

James Carpinello made his Broadway debut in Saturday Night Fever and has starred in Xanadu and Rock of Ages. His film and TV credits include The Good Wife, So NoTORIous, The Closer, The Great Raid and The Punisher.
