Sarah Paulson and Mamie Gummer will star as sisters alongside Mary Kay Place in writer/director Stacy Sherman's new film Claire's Cambodia, according to Deadline.com. The movie also features Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids), Casey Wilson (TV's Happy Endings) and Joe Lo Truglio (Paul). Filming is expected to begin this summer.
Claire's Cambodia follows three sisters whose estrangement, resentment and envy of one another remains strong even when they find out their father is terminally ill.
Paulson's Broadway credits include Collected Stories and The Glass Menagerie, in addition to off-Broadway's Still Life, Crimes of the Heart, Colder Than Here, Killer Joe and Talking Pictures. Gummer has appeared on Broadway in Les Liasons Dangereuses and off-Broadway in The School of Lies, Hunting and Gathering, Uncle Vanya, The Water's Edge and Mr. Marmalade.
