The highly-anticipated Los Angeles reading of Dustin Lance Black’s 8 has come and gone, but the American Foundation for Equal Rights filmed the full star-studded eveningso aduiences across the world can view the insightful theatrical event. A-listers like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Martin Sheen and Chris Colfer joined Broadway veterans Matthew Morrison, Rory O'Malley, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and many, many more on stage at L.A.’s Wilshire Ebell Theatre on March 3 for a one-night-only benefit performance of the piece. 8, which made its world premiere on Broadway last fall, chronicles the historic federal court trial overturning Proposition 8, the ballot measure that denied gay and lesbian couples in California the right to marry.
