The Acting Company honored one of its own on March 12, and the stars flocked to Manhattan's Kaye Playhouse to celebrate Broadway legend Patti LuPone. Patti’s Turn, a nod to LuPone’s Tony-winning role as Rose in Gypsy (her first was for Evita), was a gala benefit for the company, of which LuPone is a founding member and board director. The evening was a mixture of songs and stories about the stage icon, who toured with the company for its first four seasons and is still very much a part of The Acting Company family. Friends and collaborators like Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman came out to celebrate, as did former co-stars like Phantom favorite Howard McGillin.
