Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz turned 64 years old on March 6, and what better place to celebrate than (what can only be known as) Stephen Schwartz Alley! Schwartz has two hit shows running on Broadway right now—Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre and Godspell at Circle in the Square—and as fate would have it, they are right next door to one another. On a beautiful spring day on March 13, Schwartz stopped out front of this Schwartz-centric theater complex to eat cake with Wicked stars Jackie Burns and Richard Blake, Godspell stars Hunter Parrish, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and more.
