Tony nominee and Seminar star Lily Rabe and Richard Thomas will announce nominations for the 62nd Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards on April 23 at the Friars Club. The Outer Critics Circle is an organization of writers covering New York theater from out-of-town media outlets. The awards honor the best of off-Broadway and Broadway. Winners will be presented at Sardis Restaurant on May 24.
Rabe currently stars as aspiring novelist Kate in Seminar. She has also appeared on Broadway in The American Plan, Heartbreak House, Steel Magnolias and The Merchant of Venice, for which she earned a Tony nomination. In June, Rabe will star as Rosalind in the upcoming Shakespeare in the Park production of As You Like It.
Thomas was last seen on Broadway in Race. He has also appeared on Broadway in A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, Democracy, Love Letters, The Front Page, Fifth of July, Everyone in the Garden, The Playroom and Strange Interlude. His many film and TV credits include The Waltons, Wonder Boys, Just Cause, Roots: The Next Generations and Barefoot in the Park.
