Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber both celebrate March 22 birthdays, and once upon a time they joined forces to celebrate the legendary theater producer Cameron Mackintosh on his birthday. In the starry event Hey, Mister Producer!, Sondheim and Lloyd Webber sat side by side at a piano to sing a mash-up of their own creation, blending Sondheim’s “Send in the Clowns” and Lloyd Webber’s “Music of the Night” into one truly memorable, tongue-in-cheek birthday song.
