AMC’s Mad Men, the Emmy-winning drama about New York City advertising executives in the 1960s, finally returns for its fifth season on March 25, after a year and a half hiatus. Broadway.com is so excited for the premiere we even recently cast a fantasy musical version of the show, with musical theater actors playing the members of the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce family. Now, we're turning the tables and hoping these acclaimed TV actors will extend their talent to the Broadway stage. It's true that Mad Men is filled with stars who have already been on Broadway, including John Slattery (Rabbit Hole, Betrayal, Laugther on the 23rd Floor), Elisabeth Moss (Speed-the-Plow), Aaron Staton (Mamma Mia!) and Tony winner Robert Morse (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Tru and The Matchmaker), but we'd welcome any of them back in a heartbeat along with their Mad Men co-stars who have yet to make their Main Stem debuts.
