The Broadway premiere of Marc Camoletti’s French farce Don’t Dress For Dinner, starring Ben Daniels and Jennifer Tilly, begins previews March 30 at the American Airlines Theatre. Presented by the Roundabout Theatre Company and directed by John Tillinger, Don’t Dress For Dinner opens April 26 and will play a limited engagement through June 17.
Don’t Dress For Dinner is the story of Jacqueline and Bernard, a married couple who both plan separate romantic trysts with their respective lovers on the same night. Throw in a Cordon Bleu-level chef and two women named Suzy and voila! Dinner becomes a high-speed farce. Don’t Dress For Dinner stars Daniels as Robert, Tilly as Suzanne, Patricia Kalember as Jacqueline, Adam James as Bernard, Spencer Kayden as Suzette and David Aron Damane as George.
