Patina Miller, Heidi Blickenstaff, James Clow, Alan H. Green, Leslie Kritzer and Matthew Scott complete the cast of the Kander and Ebb musical revue First You Dream: The Music of Kander and Ebb at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The production is helmed by Eric Schaeffer and features a 22-piece orchestra. Performances begin June 8 and run through July 1 at the Eisenhower Theater.
Three-time Tony-winning songwriting team John Kander (composer) and Fred Ebb (lyricist) collaborated on a host of hit Broadway musicals, including Cabaret, Chicago, Curtains, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Steel Pier, The Rink, The Scottsboro Boys and Zorba.
Miller originated the role of Deloris Van Cartier in the Broadway and West End productions of Sister Act. Blickenstaff currently appears off-Broadway in Now. Here. This., and has appeared on Broadway in The Addams Family, The Little Mermaid, The Full Monty and [title of show]. Clow’s Broadway credits include Assassins, Blood Brothers, She Loves Me, Company, Wonderful Town, White Christmas and the Encores! production of Pipe Dream, which begins March 28. Green has appeared on Broadway in Sister Act and Play On. Kritzer’s Broadway credits include Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair, Legally Blonde and Hairspray. Scott has appeared on Broadway in Sondheim on Sondheim, Jersey Boys, A Catered Affair and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
