NBC's Smash continued to highlight some of Broadway's biggest talents as Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz made a guest appearance on the show's April 2 episode. Butz took up residence in the Shubert Theatre as one of the lead actors in the series’ fictional Broadway musical, Heaven on Earth. In a musical number with chorus girl Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty), Butz belted out gospel-style vocals while wearing a white suit. God, is that you?
