Tony-nominated husband and wife Terrence Mann and Charlotte d'Amboise will bring their popular Triple Arts musical theater workshops for young performers to New York this summer. National Dance Institute Center for Learning & the Arts will host the summer camp for aspiring theater performers from July 30 through August 10.
At the Triple Arts workshops, aspiring performers (ages 12-18) are trained by Mann, d’Amboise and a team of Broadway professionals in the arts of singing, dancing and acting. Students rehearse, practice and study each day, all leading up to a final performance showcase.
Mann originated many roles on Broadway including the Beast in Beauty and the Beast (Tony nomination), Rum Tum Tugger in Cats, Javert in Les Miserables (Tony nomination) and Chauvelin in The Scarlet Pimpernel. He is also a professor of musical Theater at Western Carolina University.
d’Amboise received Tony nominations for her roles as Cassie in A Chorus Line and in Jerome Robbins’ Broadway. Her other Broadway credits include Chicago, Sweet Charity, Carrie, Company, Contact and Damn Yankees.
