Canadian singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright made headlines in 2006 when he recreated the entire Judy Garland Carnegie Hall concert live at the famous New York venue. He went on to cover Judy in concerts in London, Paris and Los Angeles and even scored a Grammy nomination for his album of Garland’s songs. On April 13, Wainwright dropped by the Belasco Theater to see another foreign-born star, Tracie Bennett, take on the iconic star in End of the Rainbow. After the curtain came down, the singer went back to “The Rainbow Room” to congratulate Bennett on her performance. Check out the photo of Wainwright alongside Bennett (still in her Garland costume!) and get your tickets today to see Bennett take on Garland in End of the Rainbow.
