James Lapine Takes in Dinner and a Show at Off-Broadway’s Silence! The Musical

James Lapine is busy preparing for his forthcoming Broadway revival of Annie, but the prolific theater director found time on April 19 to head downtown to see the acclaimed production of Silence! The Musical, a spoof on the 1991 film Silence of the Lambs. After the curtain came down on this hysterical show, Lapine made his way backstage to reunite with his former Modern Orthodox star Jenn Harris (who stars as Clarice Starling in this production) and Married with Children’s David Garrison (who stars as Hannibal Lecter).
