Mike Bartlett’s Olivier Award-winning play Cock begins performances at off-Broadway’s Duke on 42nd Street on May 1. Directed by James MacDonald and starring Alcatraz’s Jason Butler Harner, the comedy will open on May 17.
When John (Smith) and his boyfriend (Harner) take a break, the last thing he expects is to suddenly meet the woman (Quaid) of his dreams. Now he has a big choice to make.
In addition to Harner, Cock stars Cory Michael Smith, Amanda Quaid and Cotter Smith. The play first premiered in 2009 at London’s Royal Court Theatre.
The production includes set and costume design by Miriam Buether, lighting design by Peter Mumford and sound design by Darron L West.
