Once Star Cristin Milioti Is Thrilled for Her 'Tony Danza Nomination'

“I feel f**king great! I was fast asleep—my boyfriend and I don't have a TV; we watch everything on the Internet. My phone rang and I was so out of it. I groggily reached over, and it was my agent and manager cheering. Then my dad called. It was just unreal! It's a surprise. I definitely didn't assume anything. I'm floored. I don't think it's hit me yet. I'm still in bed—just making calls straight from bed I'm beyond thrilled. This company has been together for a year. A year ago we were performing together at a bar in Cambridge, which is insane. We had just finished on April 30, and we were saying we don't know what the future holds. We just did this workshop for five weeks—it's unreal to see we got all this love and we've all stuck together for so long. That's the most overwhelming part. My boyfriend calls the Tonys 'the Tony Danzas.' He was like, 'You've got a Tony Danza nomination!' To be nominated for a Danza, it's like a dream! I'm excited to wear a pretty dress...maybe I’ll to get to meet Tony Danza—will he be at these things? It is all new to me and it's incredible and exciting!”
