Previews begin May 8 for Will Eno’s new one-man play Title and Deed, starring Conor Lovett. Directed by Judy Hegarty Lovett, opening night is set for May 20 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre in off-Broadway’s Pershing Square Signature Center. The production will play a limited engagement through June 17.
Set in an unknown country, Title and Deed is the tale of a nameless traveler (Lovett) searching for connection and solace. The production is a funny and sad meditation on mortality, loneliness, innocence, home, family, love, funerals, words and the world. Title and Deed is presented in association with Gare St. Lazare Players Ireland. Eno wrote Title and Deed specifically for Lovett.
Title and Deed includes scenic design by Christine Jones, costume design by Andrea Lauer and lighting design by Ben Stanton.
