Tony-nominated The Book of Mormon star Josh Gad will soon say farewell to Broadway to star in the upcoming NBC series 1600 Penn. In the comedy Gad plays the goofball son of the U.S. President (Bill Pullman), who may just turn out to be the glue that keeps his family together. In a clip of the show Gad and his nerdy college buddies decide to take revenge on a popular fraternity by scaring the members with some fireworks. Things don't go quite as planned however and when a front yard brawl erupts, Gad just misses a punch in the face, thanks to his dad's crack Secret Service agents. Gad also sat down with NBC to discuss playing the wild child of a dysfunction First Family. Take a look at the clips below and be sure to catch 1600 Penn on NBC this season.
