Eight-time Tony winner (and 2012 Tony nominee) Mike Nichols participated in The New York Times’ prestigious “Times Talk” series on May 7. The iconic director is perhaps best known for films like The Graduate, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and The Birdcage as well his Emmy-winning miniseries Angels in America. This season, Nichols returned to Broadway to direct Arthur Miller’s masterpiece Death of a Salesman, starring 2012 Tony nominees Philip Seymour Hoffman, Linda Emond and Andrew Garfield, as well as acclaimed breakout star Finn Wittrock.
