Television networks recently held their upfronts to announce the crop of new series that will debut this fall, and there are plenty of theater people featured in the new shsows. Theater fans can expect to see some of their favorite stage stars appearing on TV, including Book of Mormon boys Andrew Rannells (The New Normal) and Josh Gad (1600 Penn), as well as Tony winners Laura Benanti and Julie White (both will star in Go On), Phylicia Rashad (Do No Harm), Sutton Foster (Bunheads), John Gallagher Jr. (The Newsroom) and more. With all these familiar Broadway faces popping up on TV, we couldn’t be more excited for the 2012-13 fall lineup.
