David Alan Grier, Tony Sheldon and Leslie Uggams are among the presenters set for the 2012 Theatre World Awards on June 5 at the Belasco Theatre. The awards, which honor performers making an outstanding Broadway or off-Broadway debut, will be hosted by journalist Peter Filichia.
Also scheduled to present awards are John Rubinstein, Wesley Taylor and Lizbeth Mackay. Stacy Keach will present the Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence to Tribes' Susan Pourfar. Further presenters will be announced shortly.
The previously announced list of Theatre World Award winners includes Tracie Bennett (End of the Rainbow), Philip Boykin (Porgy and Bess), Crystal A. Dickinson (Clybourne Park), Russell Harvard (Tribes), Jeremy Jordan (Bonnie & Clyde), Joaquina Kalukango (Hurt Village), Jennifer Lim (Chinglish), Jessie Mueller (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever), Hettienne Park (Seminar and The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism & Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures), Chris Perfetti (Sons of the Prophet), Finn Wittrock (Death of a Salesman) and Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar).
