Don’t Dress For Dinner is serving up a sexy dose of comedy at the American Airlines Theatre, starring 2012 Tony nominee Spencer Kayden and more. In this French sex farce by Marc Camoletti, a not-so-happily married couple plans separate romantic trysts on the same weekend. When both secret lovers and a Cordon Bleu chef show up at the same time, dinner becomes a hilarious farce. Broadway.com resident artist Justin ‘Squigs’ Robertson took a seat at the kooky dinner party, then sketched a hijinks-filled portrait of (from left) Jennifer Tilly as Suzanne, Adam James as Bernard, Ben Daniels as Robert, Spencer Kayden as Suzette and Patricia Kalember as Jacqueline. Check out Squigs' take on the fast-paced party, then R.S.V.P. to Don’t Dress For Dinner, playing a limited engagement through June 17!
About the Artist: With a desire to celebrate the magic of live theater and those who create it, and with a deep reverence for such touchstones as the work of Al Hirschfeld and the wall at Sardi’s, Squigs is happy and grateful to be among those carrying on the traditions where theater and caricature meet. He was born and raised in Oregon, lived in Los Angeles for quite a long time and now calls New York City his home. Click to e-mail Squigs. Photo by Matthew Murphy
