The 2012 Tony Awards have announced the performance lineup for the June 10 ceremony at the Beacon Theatre. The evening will include performances from Tony-nominated musicals Evita (featuring Ricky Martin and Elena Roger), Follies (with Tony nominee Danny Burstein), Porgy and Bess (featuring Tony nominees Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis and David Alan Grier), Jesus Christ Superstar (with Tony nominee Josh Young), Leap of Faith (featuring Raul Esparza), Newsies (with Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan) Nice Work If You Can Get It (featuring Matthew Broderick and Tony nominee Kelli O’Hara) and Once (with Tony nominees Steve Kazee, Cristin Milioti and Elizabeth A. Davis).
Tony-nominated plays One Man, Two Guvnors (featuring Tony nominee James Corden), End of the Rainbow (with Tony nominee Tracie Bennett) and Peter and the Starcatcher (featuring Tony nominees Christian Borle and Celia Keenan-Bolger) will also perform at the Tony Awards. Additionally, the awards will feature a performance with the cast of Godspell (featuring Corbin Bleu) and Ghost (with Bryce Pinkham, Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman). The telecast will also feature a live broadcast performance from the cast of the Royal Caribbean International's production of Hairspray from the Oasis of the Seas cruise ship. The cruise line serves as an official partner of the Tony Awards.
The Tony Awards will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and broadcast live on CBS. Previously announced Tony Awards presenters include Ellen Barkin, Candice Bergen, Jessica Chastain, Sheryl Crow, Nick Jonas, Angela Lansbury, James Marsden, Jim Parsons, Mandy Patinkin, Tyler Perry, Bernadette Peters, Christopher Plummer, Paul Rudd, Amanda Seyfried, Trey Parker and Matt Stone and more.
