Get a Sneak Peek of John Gallagher Jr., Alison Pill & Thomas Sadoski in Aaron Sorkin’s New HBO Drama The Newsroom

Broadway faves John Gallagher, Jr. (Spring Awakening), Alison Pill (The House of Blue Leaves) and Thomas Sadoski (Other Desert Cities) are gearing up to star in the eagerly awaited HBO series The Newsroom, premiering June 24. Written and produced by Aaron Sorkin, the new drama is a behind-the-scenes look at a fictional cable news network, co-starring fellow Broadway vets Jeff Daniels, Jane Fonda, David Cromer and Sam Waterston, as well as Olivia Munn, Emily Mortimer and Dev Patel. Gallagher plays new senior producer Jim Harper, while Pill takes on the role of high-strung associate producer Maggie Jordan, and Sadoski tackles “drama-free” former executive producer Don Keefer.
