Tony nominees Hallie Foote and Jayne Houdyshell will star in Harrison, TX: Three Plays by Horton Foote at off-Broadway’s Primary Stages. Directed by Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park), Harrison, TX will play July 24 through September 15 at 59E59 Theaters.
In addition to Foote and Houdyshell, Harrison, TX features Devon Abner, Mary Bacon, Jeremy Bobb, Alexander Cendese, Andrea Lynn Green, Evan Jonigkeit and Jenny Dare Paulin. Foote explores the humor, darkness and romance of the people of the town of Harrison, Texas, in his collection of three short plays: Blind Date, The One-Armed Man and The Midnight Caller.
Hallie Foote is the daughter of the late Horton Foote. Her Broadway credits include A Little Family Business and Dividing the Estate, for which she earned a Tony nod. Her off-Broadway credits include The Trip to Bountiful, The Orphans’ Home Cycle and The Widow Claire.
Houdyshell earned Tony nominations for Follies and Well. Additional Broadway credits include Wicked, Bye Bye Birdie and The Importance of Being Earnest. Her film credits include Garden State, Maid in Manhattan and Everybody’s Fine.
The Harrison, TX design team includes scenic designer Marion Williams, costume designer Kaye Voyce, lighting designer Tyler Micoleau and the show will feature original music and sound design by Broken Chord.
