Gay website AfterElton.com published their reader-generated Hot 100, a collection of the world’s hottest straight and gay men alive, and several Broadway faces received recognition for more than just their talent onstage. Leading the 2012 list is Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards host Darren Criss. This is the second year the How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Glee star nabbed the top spot.
Joining Criss are almost every other male on Glee (Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, Chord Overstreet, Grant Gustin, Harry Shum Jr., Matthew Morrison and Chris Colfer). Glee guest stars Cheyenne Jackson, Matt Bomer, Jonathan Groff and Ricky Martin (Evita) also ranked pretty high on the 2012 Hot 100 List.
Other theater folks who made the cut include Tony host Neil Patrick Harris and husband David Burtka (Gypsy), Angels in America star Zachary Quinto, upcoming off-Broadway star Jake Gyllenhaal, Luke Macfarlane (The Normal Heart), Wilson Cruz (Rent), Justin Bartha (Lend Me a Tenor), Jake Shears (Tales of the City), Andrew Garfield (Death of a Salesman), Russell Tovey (The History Boys), Gale Harold (Suddenly Last Summer), Hugh Jackman (Boy from Oz) and Daniel Radclifee (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying).
