Stephanie J. Block (Anything Goes), Megan Hilty (TV’s Smash), Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur), Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher) and more have joined the roster of presenters at Broadway Barks!, the annual dog and cat adoption event hosted by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore. The 14th annual Broadway Barks event is set for July 14 in Shubert Alley. Sponsored by the ASPCA, proceeds from Broadway Barks! benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. The event begins at 3:30 PM, and celebrity presentations begin at 5 PM.
In addition to Block, Hilty, Arianda and Keenan-Bolger, celebrity participants include Adam Chanler-Berat (Peter and the Starcatcher), Michael Cumpsty (End of the Rainbow), Tom Edden (One Man, Two Guvnors), Martyn Ellis (One Man, Two Guvnors), Jessica Hecht (Harvey), Claire Lams (One Man, Two Guvnors), Norm Lewis (Porgy and Bess), Kara Lindsay (Newsies), Rita Moreno, Nancy Opel (Memphis), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Ghost), Jemima Rooper (One Man, Two Guvnors), Matt Saldivar (Peter and the Starcatcher), Natalie Smith (One Man, Two Guvnors), Ben Vereen, Syndee Winters (The Lion King) and a special performance by One Man, Two Guvnors' band The Craze.
