Triassic Parq, the off-beat dinosaur musical currently running at off-Broadway's SoHo Playhouse, will record an original cast ablum on August 11. Written by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steve Wargo and directed by Pailet, the production is scheduled to play its final peformance on August 5. No release date has been set for the recording.
Triassic Parq stars Lindsay Nicole Chambers, Brandon Espinoza, Alex Wyse, Shelley Thomas, Wade McCollum, Claire Neumann and Lee Seymour. Combining singing, sex and Velociraptors, Triassic Parq follows a group of cloned dinosaurs as they unearth the very foundations of their existence. Morality, faith, science, gender identity and interspecies fornication are all explored and sung about.
The show features choreography by Kyle Mullins, musical direction by Zak Sandler, scenic design by Caite Hevner and assistant direction by Nora Ives. The cast album will be produced by Lee Seymour and Alec Seymour.
