Go On, the new NBC series starring Tony winner Laura Benanti and Friends alum Matthew Perry, pulled in a healthy 16.6 million viewers during its special sneak preview on August 8, according to Deadline.com.
The series follows Ryan (Perry) a widower who joins a support group after the loss of his wife. Benanti plays the group's counselor who doesn't quite see eye to eye with Ryan. Tony winner Julie White also co-stars.
The special sneak preview aired after NBC's Olympic coverage. The series will return for its regular run on Tuesday nights beginning September 11.
