Angelica Page will channel her mother, legendary actress Geraldine Page, in a new solo show at Cherry Lane Studio Theatre. Turning Page, directed by Tony nominee Wilson Milam (The Lieutenant of Inishmore), will run off-Broadway from October 11 to October 28. In addition to the play, Page, who is appearing on Broadway in The Best Man, is working on a documentary and biography about her mother.
Turning Page is the true story of Oscar winner and seven-time Oscar nominee Geraldine Page. Page’s film credits include Sweet Bird of Youth, Summer and Smoke, Interiors, The Trip to Bountiful, You’re a Big Boy Now and Hondo . On stage, she starred in Agnes of God, Sweet Bird of Youth, Three Sisters, Blithe Spirit and The Immoralist with James Dean.
In addition to The Best Man, Angelica Page’s (formerly known as Angelica Torn) stage credits include Psycho Therapy, August: Osage County, Anna Christie, Edge, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and Side Man. She appeared on TV in As the World Turns, Talk to Me and The Sopranos and on film in The Sixth Sense, Lucky Days and The Contender.
