On August 17, Jeremy Jordan and his new co-star Katharine McPhee took to the streets in New York City’s Flatiron District to film a smoldering scene for season two of the hit NBC series Smash. The Newsies star, who sports a rough, new look complete with a cut on his upper lip and a sinister-looking glare, cozies up to McPhee, who is dressed to the nines. The Broadway-centric drama is the story of Karen and Ivy, two actresses who are both vying for the lead role in a musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. Jordan, who reportedly plays a “sexy Brooklyn-born singer with a self-destructive streak” seems awfully friendly with newly single actress Karen (McPhee). Is it a love connection? Tune in to NBC in 2013 when Smash returns for season two! Photo by Just Jared.
