Tony winner Robert Sean Leonard will guest star on the TNT sci-fi drama Falling Skies, according to Deadline.com. Leonard will appear in a five-episode arc as Dr. Roger Kadar also known as The Rat King, an eccentric scientist who runs Charleston’s power grid and lives underground with his pet rats.
Falling Skies is set six months into a post-apocalyptic world in which aliens have invaded Earth. The series stars Noah Wyle as a Boston University history professor who becomes the second-in-command of the Second Massachusetts Militia Regiment.
Leonard earned a Tony award for The Invention of Love, as well as additional nominations for Candida and Long Day’s Journey Into Night. His many screen credits include Dead Poet’s Society, Swing Kids, Much Ado About Nothing, The Last Days of Disco, and a starring role on the hit TV series House. He last appeared on Broadway alongside Tony winner Nina Arianda in Born Yesterday.
