Extra, Extra! Chaplin's Jenn Colella Is Broadway.com’s Newest Video Blogger

Broadway.com has a new backstage video blogger: Chaplin star Jenn Colella! In the new musical based on the life of legendary film actor Charlie Chaplin, Colella portrays real-life gossip columnist Hedda Hopper, a dishy Hollywood insider who chastises Chaplin for his love life and politics. Broadway.com has armed Colella with her very own video camera to get the scoop on the behind-the-scenes world of Chaplin in her brand new video blog, Hedda’s Headlines.

Featuring music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis, a book by Curtis and Thomas Meehan, Chaplin depicts the life of the iconic comic actor Charlie Chaplin, star of City Lights, The Great Dictator, The Gold Rush, Modern Times and many more. From the slums of London to the heights of Hollywood, Chaplin is the story of the man behind the legend. Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, Chaplin will open officially on September 10 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre.

The first episode of Hedda’s Headlines will premiere on August 30, with new episodes each Thursday.
