Gore Vidal's The Best Man plays its final performance at Broadway's Schoenfeld Theatre.

Set at the national convention, The Best Man is the story of two political candidates who are both fighting for their party’s nomination for president. Both candidates struggle with the decision to smear their respective opponent’s reputation or take the high road in order to win the race.
