Tony winner Karen Olivo, Kyle Dean Massey, Christopher Jackson and more will perform at the Yellow Sound Label release party for Tuck Everlasting composers Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen's new album Fugitive Sounds. The concert, which also celebrates the release of Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham's recording of Next Thing You Know, is scheduled for September 9 at Le Poisson Rouge.
Also scheduled to perform are Lauren Blackman, Colin Hanlon, Andrew Durand, Andy Mientus, Kate Rockwell, Alysha Umphress and Barrett Wilbert Weed.
Fugitive Songs follows a group of people on the run across America including a disgruntled Subway sandwich employee, a jilted ex-cheerleader, a pair of Patty Hearst fanatics, a stoner forced to rob a convenience store against his will and more. The musical ran at off-Broadway's 45th Street Theater in 2008. The album will be available on September 18. Next Thing You Know is a coming-of-age tale about struggling artists trying to find their way in the big city.
