Perez Hilton Joins the Cast of Off-Broadway's NEWSical the Musical

Who better to lampoon current events than Hollywood's resident gossip king, Perez Hilton? On September 8, the infamous blogger steps into NEWSical the Musical, the ever-changing musical comedy that sends up the latest headlines, celebrities, politicians and newsmakers. Hilton will stay with the show for a four-week engagement at off-Broadway's Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row.

Hilton joins fellow new co-star Leslie Kritzer as well as Christine Pedi, Christina Bianco, Michael West, Tommy Walker, Amy Griffin and Ryan Knowles. The show (which changes weekly based on current headlines) was written and created by Rick Crom and directed by Mark Waldrop.

Hilton (born Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr.) received a BFA in Drama from New York University. He has appeared on the televsions shows The Sopranos, Glee, 1girl5gays and WWE Raw. He has a syndicated radio show Radio Perez and authored the children’s book The Boy With the Pink Hair.
