My Big Gay Italian Wedding will return to its off-Broadway home at St. Luke's Theatre beginning November 3. No casting has been announced for the return engagement.
The comedy follows the antics of a close-knit Italian family after their gay son announces he's engaged. The parents will only agree to pay for the wedding if certain demands are met. When their requests appear impossible to fill, the grooms go to great lengths to convince the family everything is going smoothly despite the behavior of a jealous ex-boyfriend, a crazy wedding planner and more.
After a successful run in 2003 at the Actor's Playhouse, My Big Gay Italian Wedding transferred to off-Broadway’s St. Luke’s Theatre on May 22, 2010. The show ran through August 20, 2011 and featured appearances by many reality TV stars including Lance Bass, Tabatha Coffey, Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo and Reichen Lehmkuhl.
