Oscar winner and Tony nominee Philip Seymour Hoffman will direct Keith Bunin’s supernatural drama Ezekiel Moss, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Hoffman made his directiorial debut in 2010 with the film Jack Goes Boating, based on Robert Glaudini’s 2007 play. No casting or production timeline has been announced for Ezekiel Moss.
Ezekiel Moss focuses on a mysterious stranger with the power to speak with the dead. His arrival in a small Nebraska town transforms the lives of the town's residents, including a widow and her young son.
Hoffman received Tony nominations for Long Day’s Journey Into Night, True West and most recently for his performance as Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman. He won an Academy Award for Capote. His additional film credits include The Master, Almost Famous, Magnolia, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Moneyball and Doubt. Hoffman will also soon begin filming The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire.
