Extra! Extra! Newsies Leading Man Corey Cott Is Broadway.com’s Newest Video Blogger

Broadway.com has a brand new backstage video blogger: Newsies star Corey Cott! Broadway.com has given Cott, who plays head newsboy Jack Kelly in the hit Disney musical, a camera to capture all the behind-the-scenes fun at the Nederlander Theatre with his very own video blog, The King of New York.

Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Newsies follows Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged boys, who dreams of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. When publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike.

The first episode of The King of New York will premiere on September 24, with new episodes airing every Monday.
