Shoot for the Moon! PigPen Theatre Company's The Old Man and The Old Moon Opens Off-Broadway

The Old Man and The Old Moon, PigPen Theatre Co.’s first large-scale off-Broadway production, opens October 7 at The Gym at Judson. 

Combining live music, puppetry and creative theatrical effects, the fantasy play tells the tale of the moon’s caretaker, the Old Man, who must abandon his duties of filling up the moon every month to cross the seas in search of his missing wife. On his voyage to the ends of the earth in search of his lost love, the Old Man encounters giant monsters of the deep, apocalyptic storms, civil wars, belligerent ghosts and other creatures.

PigPen's troupe members include Alex Falberg, Ben Ferguson, Curtis Gillen, Ryan Melia, Matt Nuernberger, Arya Shahi and Dan Weschler. The production's creative team includes Lydia Fine and Bart Cortright.
