‘It’s Me on Broadway!’ Jessica Chastain Shows Off Her Excitement at Starring in The Heiress

Think the Oscar-nominated star of some of most high profile films of the past couple of years (The Help, Tree of Life, The Master and Lawless, to name just four!) is too cool for Broadway? No way. Jessica Chastain posted this adorable photo of herself on Facebook outside the Walter Kerr Theatre, where she is playing Catherine Sloper in the Broadway revival of The Heiress. In a message to her online friends, Chastain wrote, “Look, it’s me on Broadway! Tonight is my 4th preview in front of an audience. Working with this group has been so inspiring. I love meeting people from the audience at the stage door after the show, everyone has been so kind and supportive.” Not surprisingly, the actress’ photo has inspired more than 1,200 “likes”!
