Stage and screen stars Sally Field and Jane Fonda headed to the Walter Kerr Theatre for a ladies’ night out on October 9! The Broadway vets paid a visit to Downton Abbey heartthrob Dan Stevens, who is making his Broadway debut in the new revival of Ruth and Augustus Goetz’s The Heiress. Fonda and Field enjoyed getting a closer look at the Slopers’ lavish Washington Square home for an evening of 19th century drama: Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain makes her Broadway debut as Catherine, a plain-looking but exceedingly wealthy woman who is courted by a handsome suitor, Morris Townsend (Stevens)—but does Morris really have good intentions?
