Melanie Chisholm (a.k.a. Sporty Spice) has turned to musical theater for inspiration on her newest album. On Stages, Chisholm sings her favorite show tunes, inspired by her time spent watching and starring in shows on the West End and beyond. Chisholm appeared in Blood Brothers in 2009 and plays Mary Magdalene in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar, which is on tour now. Chisholm and her fellow Spice Girls have proven to be inspirations themselves with their own previously announced jukebox musical Viva Forever!, which begins previews on November 11 at London's Piccadilly Theatre.
